One run down in the sixth, two outs, and the Saints smelling an upset. Then Diego Fuentes worked a nine-pitch walk, stole second on the first movement, and Mason Carter lashed the game-tying double into the left-field corner. The Arena Stadium has rarely been louder.

The seventh belonged to the fifteen-year-old in right field. Jayden Okafor read the Saints' sacrifice bunt all the way, charged, and barehanded it to first for the out — then, two batters later, drove the go-ahead run home with a double off the wall. An insurance run followed on a wild pitch, and Tom Becker closed the door with a one-two-three ninth.

“These players refused to lose. Down a run in a final, they played braver, not safer — that is what this club is about.”

The 3–1 victory completes the treble: City League, Community Cup and now the Championship Cup, all in one season. It is the first time any club in the regional youth system has held all three at once.

Celebrations continue at Saturday's family day before the Metro Stars visit — the players will parade all three trophies around the diamond at half past ten. Tickets are on sale now, and season-pass holders are reminded that finals priority already covers the new campaign.
